The most comforting of our oils, “Coconut Rhapsody” is a pure coconut oil soaked in the sunshine of the Indian Ocean: it comes straight from Madagascar.

Solid below 23°C, its balm-like texture melts upon contact with the skin.

Made from wild coconuts, produced using family expertise passed down from generation to generation, and deodorized using traditional methods, our pure “Coconut Rhapsody” coconut oil is the ideal treatment for nourishing your skin and hair.

Current batch: deodorized (the scent may vary from one batch to another)

FAQ

Q: What is coconut oil used for, and can it be used on the skin and face?

A: In cosmetics, coconut vegetable oil is an excellent emollient: it makes the skin softer. It is used to deeply nourish the skin, including the skin on the face. The skin on the face is more fragile, as it is exposed to all kinds of irritants and is thinner than the skin on the body. Be careful with skin prone to greasiness or oily skin, as coconut oil is comedogenic; it is therefore better suited to normal to very dry skin. If in doubt, try applying it directly to a very small area of the face, then monitor its effects for a week. Used in an anti-cellulite body massage: it will work wonders.

Q: What does our coconut oil smell like?

A: Our coconut oil is lightly scented and has a light, creamy color. It comes directly from the West Coast of Madagascar, from wild coconut trees, and from producers organized into family-run plantations who harvest the coconuts and press the pulp. We deodorized it for a very long time, but we would like to gradually bring back the sweet notes of coconut to our jars! If you have any thoughts on this: feel free to write to us :)

Q: Removing makeup with coconut oil?

A: We recommend it! As mentioned in our suggestions, coconut oil is an excellent natural makeup remover, valued for its saturated fatty acid content (the very same ones that make it mostly solid at room temperature). Apply it to your face to remove stubborn makeup or well-set mascara, and let the coconut work its natural magic! The bonus: your skin gets nourished in the process!
