The Great Island offers us two natural treasures: the mild Coconut oil, from Coconut trees on the west coast, and the rich Baobab oil (we kept its pulp, for greater effectiveness).

Let's continue our vigil in the flatlands of the Netherlands, in the Ardennes, for our beeswax. It is what gives our balm its creamy texture.

Finally, a sweet, soft, delicate note, straight from Sicily. It comes from grapefruit essential oil, from those ripe fruits that grew south of Syracuse, a two-hour drive from Etna.

Q: What is a night cream / night balm?

A: Night cream / night balm is designed to regenerate the skin during sleep. It is defined in contrast to day cream, which allows you to regenerate your skin in a shorter time, but has a more limited action. Night cream indeed has all the time necessary to allow the active ingredients time to work. We also allow ourselves the possibility for a night cream to "let the product sit", that is to say not to remove it immediately mechanically or with water. We wanted our night balm to be very rich and very easy to use: a mini dose of this balm plumps your skin, with a very pleasant grapefruit scent as a bonus :)

Q: When & how to apply a night cream / balm?

A: We offer you a very simple routine: place a small amount (small hazelnut) of the promise of dawn on your forehead, chin and cheeks. Then massage with the pulp of your fingers in small upward circular movements. This allows the slight increase of blood circulation for a faster and more efficient absorption of the balm.

The ideal time in the evening is around 11 p.m. to about 4 a.m., the average time when your skin regenerates the fastest during the night.

There is no need to follow the timing to the minute, but it is the most active period for cellular regeneration activity.

Q: How to choose your night cream?

A: A good night cream, as with a day treatment, is first and foremost an impeccable composition. Here, every ingredient is active, there are no "filler" ingredients. You must therefore carefully check the ingredient list of the product in question. The ideal is then to choose a product with the best possible environmental impact (glass container, no unnecessary items). Finally, ask for as much information as possible about the brand's manufacturing and sourcing conditions to know what you are putting on your skin.

A: Bedtime is an ideal time to take care of yourself. We relax, we prepare our body and face for rest. It is therefore an ideal time to apply a regenerating balm or cream. It is a very interesting category of products because night creams have time to work and are very effective. To each their own routine, so, but we highly recommend this type of product!
